What it does in your WooCommerce store

SmartShop AI works with the products you already have in WooCommerce. It reads them with a read-only API key, with no SmartShop plugin, and it doesn't change your products, prices or orders.

  • Knows your catalogue

    It imports your published products, variable ones included, with every variation, its price and its stock.

  • Helps people choose

    The shopper says what they're after. If it needs a detail, such as size or what it's for, the assistant asks, then suggests one or two products with a reason for each.

  • Only recommends what you sell

    It only recommends products from your catalogue, knows which sizes and colours are left and leaves out anything that's out of stock. If nothing fits, it tells the shopper.

  • Straight into the WooCommerce cart

    The shopper picks the variation on the product shown in the chat and adds it to your store's cart without leaving the conversation.

How setup works

You connect it yourself in a few minutes, with a WooCommerce API key.

  1. Pick a plan and start for €1

    The first month costs €1 and you can cancel whenever you like.

  2. Create a read-only key

    In WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API, generate a key with Read permission and paste the consumer key and secret into your SmartShop dashboard.

  3. We import your catalogue

    Your published products are synced with their variations. After that they sync automatically every day, and you can start a sync from the dashboard whenever you like.

  4. Paste one line of code

    Add the assistant's snippet to your theme's header, for example with WPCode (formerly Insert Headers and Footers) or another code-snippet plugin.

Good to know

  • To see which orders came through the assistant (on the Growth plan and above), there's an optional extra step: adding a small code snippet with WPCode. You'll find it in your dashboard, with the steps. The assistant works without it.
  • Price and stock changes are picked up in the daily sync. If you change something important and don't want to wait, you can sync straight away from the dashboard.
  • It works with your WordPress theme. It isn't designed for headless storefronts.
  • It shows prices in your store's main currency.
